Pre-trip Meetings and Orientation

There will be two pre-trip meetings. Korea, like many Asian countries, has a long history of strict social hierarchy. Although there is no formal status system today, social hierarchy based on position and age is still prevalent. Students may find this cultural dynamic different from their experiences in Western culture, and understanding these differences is a key objective of the program. To help students fully embrace this experience, the lead faculty will introduce Korean culture and customs during pre-trip meetings. Additionally, an orientation session will be held at the start of the program at Sogang University.
